Hiding in plain sight

Amazing what is right in front of us sometimes..

Walking along the Hockanum river in Ellington with my wife early one evening, I stopped to take a picture of this small colorful  flower. I focused my lens and saw this magnificent creature busy at work. He was so small that I missed him with my naked eye. I find it amazing what you can see with the eye of the camera that you don't see in everyday life.
