My wife and I were walking through our yard exploring a little since the brush is starting to thin. I spotted this guy flying around. I laid down in the grass and perched up on my elbows and waited for him to land. Once he landed I zoomed in, focused, and captured him in my camera for all to see. I have been working with my zoom lens for about a year now and I feel I am starting to learn it's capabilities. Anybody who shoots photography knows how hard it is to zoom, focus and shoot with the correct settings as fast as these guys move. I hope to capture a whole array of Dragon Flies in various colors.
